What Happens if I Need a New Septic System?

I think my system is backed up, what can I expect if it's beyond repair?

If it’s been too long since your tank was pumped, it’s gotten too old, or flushing of improper items has occurred, a biomat layer can build up to the point that it creates a bowl-like structure below and around the side of the drainfield, sealing off the clean soil below. This will prevent the septic tank from draining properly. Ultimately, you will more than likely have a system failure and need a new septic system.

What about financing, permits, and other paperwork?

All system installations are required to be permitted through the local health department. The permitting process begins with filling out and submitting the local health department‘s application form. (You can find most local county paperwork by clicking on the “permits” tab of our main menu.) Our team also keeps blank copies of these applications, and we are more than happy to assist in filing them out. If the paperwork process is overwhelming, please allow us to help. This application gives the sanitarian the necessary property information to be able to formulate the correct design for your system.
